• Apply the gasket to the cover ensuring it is properly positioned.
• Use Loctite 242 (blue), which should be applied to the mounting screws of the cover after installing this new gasket. Tighten the screws to a torque of 115 to 120 inch-pounds (or 9.6 to 10.0 foot-pounds). This will ensure a proper seal for this gasket.
• Check the sealing after installation to ensure there are no leaks.
